is based on the Opti-Lynx system, and uses the same four
basic components: bayonet connector, insert, slotted connector,
and holder cap. All columns of the same length share the
same external dimensions, so switching between different
IDs and packings requires no change in hardware configuration. |

best way to protect an anlytical column from fouling is
to install a guard column between the injection valve
and the analytical column. THe guard column traps particulates,
solvent impurities, and retained sample components. The
ideal guard column should have no effect on the separation.
In order to achieve this, a guard column with matching
bonded phase and optimal hardware configuration should
be selected. |

utilizes low dispersion component interfaces to keep extra
column volume to a minimum: connection paths have a total
internal volume of less that 2µL. You get quick-connect

volume applications. With bed volumes ranging from 0.12µL
to 5.0µL, you can find the perfect balance between
sample capacity and trap volume. A proprietary method
of frit replacement allows the packed stem to be positioned
directly into the flow path, which eliminates all excess
swept volume. Less swept volume translates to absolute
minimum sample dilution and dispersion. |
