Reports to: Sales Manager

Scope:
Jaytee are looking to increase the capacity of their sales team and now require an experienced Field Sales Representative to help meet the company’s growth targets for all revenue streams , Service, Instrument sales and well as consumables and accessories.
As a senior member of the sales team the successful candidate will be expected to work closely with the Sales Manager to develop a succession plan for the sales leadership.

Principle Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Works with Sales Manager to develop appropriate sales strategy to meet or exceed company growth targets.
  • Takes a leading role in the Sales team to sell and promote the Services and products of the company.
  • Guide & influence company strategy on portfolio & product strategy.
  • Build and manage the Sales funnel of opportunities to achieve the desired outcome.
  • Manage personal Sales territory or segment to achieve the desired results.
  • Guide & influence pricing strategy to achieve business growth at the desired profitability levels.
  • Identifies new opportunities for growth with both new and existing customers.

Key areas of focus:

  • Builds brand loyalty
  • Customer acquisition & retention
  • Achieves desired business results

Qualifications/Competencies:

  • Significant Experience in analytical instrument and/or service sales.
  • Proven track record of sales achievement both by territory and major account (sales targets, customer satisfaction).
  • Proven knowledge of the pharmaceutical sector and its working practices.
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen being able to structure and negotiate multifaceted sales.
  • Able to demonstrate he/she is an effective networker.
  • Demonstrated territory management skills, planning, prioritisation and time management skills.
  • Demonstrates a winning attitude and is an engaging team player.
  • Ability to work with the wider team to ensure customer requirements are appropriately communicated in order to meet or preferably exceed customer expectations.
  • Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively with customers at ALL organisational levels i.e. from lab technician to CEO of an SME.
  • Self-Motivated & Goal orientated.
