Reports to: Sales Manager
Scope: Jaytee are looking to increase the capacity of their sales team and now require an experienced Field Sales Representative to help meet the company’s growth targets for all revenue streams: Service, Instrument Sales as well as Consumables and Accessories.
As a senior member of the sales team the successful candidate will be expected to work closely with the Sales Manager to develop a succession plan for the sales leadership.
- Works with Sales Manager to develop appropriate sales strategy to meet or exceed company growth targets.
- Takes a leading role in the Sales team to sell and promote the Services and products of the company.
- Guide & influence company strategy on portfolio & product strategy.
- Build and manage the Sales funnel of opportunities to achieve the desired outcome.
- Manage personal Sales territory or segment to achieve the desired results.
- Guide & influence pricing strategy to achieve business growth at the desired profitability levels.
- Identifies new opportunities for growth with both new and existing customers

- Significant Experience in analytical instrument and/or service sales.
- Proven track record of sales achievement both by territory and major account (sales targets, customer satisfaction).
- Proven knowledge of the pharmaceutical sector and its working practices.
- Demonstrated commercial acumen being able to structure and negotiate multifaceted sales.
- Able to demonstrate he/she is an effective networker.
- Demonstrated territory management skills, planning, prioritisation and time management skills.
- Demonstrates a winning attitude and is an engaging team player.
- Ability to work with the wider team to ensure customer requirements are appropriately communicated in order to meet or preferably exceed customer expectations.
- Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively with customers at ALL organisational levels i.e. from lab technician to CEO of an SME.
- Self-Motivated & Goal orientated.
