Mid-range LC-MS/MS systems (e.g. Waters TQ-S, Thermo TSQ Endura) range from £20,000-£60,000 depending on configuration and condition. High-end triple-quads can exceed £80,000 even used. Q: What does reconditioned mean at Jaytee?

Systems are generally stripped, cleaned and rebuilt by our in-house mass spec engineers. We replace worn consumables (seals, filaments, ion sources where needed), run full performance verification, and provide calibration documentation before the system leaves our facility.

Q: Do used mass spectrometers come with a warranty?

Yes. All Jaytee systems include a standard warranty. Extended service agreements covering parts, labour and planned maintenance visits are also available.

Q: Can I see the system before I buy?

Yes - all systems are available for viewing and live demonstration at our UK demo lab. We can also provide full performance data and calibration documentation online in advance of a visit.

Q: Do you supply gas generators for mass spectrometers?

Yes. We supply (CLAIND), install and service lab gas generators for nitrogen, hydrogen and zero-air - the gases required to run GC-MS and LC-MS systems.

Engineering

The core of our engineering team comprises MS specialists, as well as a specialist in method development. We also employ general service engineers with experience in Agilent MSDs. Our workshop staff carry out rotary pump overhauls and general maintenance.

LC-MS & GC-MS

We supply and support a variety of mass spectrometer instrumentation – Sciex, Thermo, Agilent, Waters, PerkinElmer, Shimadzu and others. All with a warranty, we install all over Europe, specialising in the UK. Send us your test sample, and we will produce the results for you.

Full Systems

At Jaytee we provide the full package. A big part of the value comes in supporting the application on the system through our highly experienced chemists – our skill in configuring and installing the various models means that you receive an “out-of-the-box” solution ready to go.
